ForConnect

Evicron designed and built ForConnect, Forcadell’s home services marketplace, entirely from scratch to production. Under the tagline “Trusted professionals for your home”, the platform connects homeowners and property managers with over 250 verified professionals across more than 20 trades, delivering comparable quotes typically in under 24 hours.

The challenge

Finding a reliable tradesperson still runs on word of mouth. And in property management the flow is even more traditional: incidents handled over the phone, always with the same contractors, with no traceability and no way to compare prices.

Forcadell, a Barcelona-based real estate consultancy, wanted to digitise that process with trust at its core: vetted professionals, real reviews and quotes you can compare in one place. The brief for Evicron was twofold: build a two-sided marketplace — demand and supply — and, at the same time, the internal sales tool Forcadell’s team uses to run it. All in three languages, with SEO as a day-one requirement.

The solution

We designed and built a single platform around four main pieces:

• AI-powered search. Users describe what they need in plain language and GPT-4o automatically maps it to one of the 20+ trades: plumbing, electrical work, painting, carpentry, renovations, HVAC, gardening or locksmithing, among others.
• A frictionless quoting flow. Users pick up to 5 professionals and receive free, no-obligation quotes with attachments, then compare them in a single dashboard. Staggered automatic reminders (Google Cloud Tasks) keep every request moving without manual chasing.
• Public profiles and built-in chat. Every professional has a profile with ratings and reviews synced from Google My Business, plus integrated messaging with notifications to clear up doubts before deciding.
• A complete sales CRM. Forcadell’s team manages acquisition through a kanban pipeline, multiple roles (sales rep, office director, marketing and admin) and Excel export.

The platform runs in Spanish, Catalan and English, with server-side rendering for bots and AI engines, a dynamic sitemap, JSON-LD and dynamic meta tags. Operations are centred on Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, but the hierarchical zone system (municipality → province → region) is ready to scale across all of Spain.

A professional directory, a pricing guide and a blog with its own editor round out the product, running on Firebase infrastructure with separate production and pre-production environments.

AI that actually does the work

At ForConnect, AI is not a marketing sticker: it solves three concrete product problems.

GPT-4o interprets each request in natural language and turns it into an actionable category, removing the long form that kills conversion. It also helps users compare quotes inside the dashboard, summarising the differences so they can decide with confidence. And in the back office, the blog editor ships with AI translation, so every piece of content is published in all three languages without tripling the marketing team’s workload.

The result is a marketplace in production that turns a process of phone calls and waiting into a measurable digital experience — and gives Forcadell its own channel to grow in home services.
